I tried using the QuickBooks integration, but it kept duplicating invoices for me. When I reached out to support, they basically pointed back at my setup instead of really helping. It was just a frustrating mess, and it made the whole process way more stressful than it needed to be

I started using Clio mainly to keep client messages and updates in one place, it’s made my day-to-day a lot smoother. Before, I’d have emails scattered around and sometimes had to dig through threads to find the latest update. Now clients can hop into the portal, check what they need, and send messages without too much back and forth.
The only thing keeping it from being perfect for me is that a few notifications can be a little slow or not totally clear at times. It hasn’t been a huge issue, though. Overall, it’s helped me stay more organized and get back to clients faster, which is exactly what I needed

"Migration was a rough start"
Getting our old data into clio was frustrating. Took way longer than we thought. Some of it came over messy too. Wrong spots. Missing details. Support did help eventually, but it was slow. Not the best first impression.

I’ve been happy with clio so far, mostly because it works with tools we already rely on, like Outlook and QuickBooks. It’s reassuring not having to enter the same information in multiple places and then wonder if I missed something or made a mistake. Setup took a little clicking around to figure out, but once we got past that, everything has been running smoothly for our office

Getting started with Clio was straightforward overall. The onboarding call definitely helped, and most of the setup steps made sense, though a few settings took me some time to track down. Importing our info wasn’t totally seamless, but support got back to me quickly when I had questions. I’ll be honest, after paying I felt a bit unsure and wondered if things would actually go as smoothly as promised, but after a few days of using it I started to feel more comfortable. Overall, it ended up being a good experience.

The case workflows were a bit clunky for us and ended up slowing the team down more than expected. We’d be trying to move through simple tasks, coffee still sitting on the desk getting cold, and it just felt like there were too many extra clicks in the way.

"Support was kinda slow and not very helpful"
I ran into an issue with my Clio account and reached out to support thinking it would be a quick fix. Unfortunately, it kinda wasn’t.
It took a long time to hear back, and when they finally replied, it felt like they hadn’t really read my message. I ended up having to explain the same problem more than once, which got frustrating.
For what Clio costs, I expected the support to be a lot better. The software itself might be fine, but the support experience kinda left a bad impression.

"Makes Tracking My Billable Time Way Easier"
I’ve been using Clio mainly to keep track of my billable hours, it’s made that part of my day a lot less annoying. I’ll start the timer when I jump into a matter, and being able to link the time right to the case saves me from having to dig back through notes later trying to remember what I worked on. It’s not perfect, every now and then it feels a little sluggish when I’m moving between pages, but for what I need it for, it gets the job done well. I’d give it 4 stars

"Clio’s been solid for everyday use"
I’ve been using Clio for a few months now, it’s been dependable. Pages load like they should, documents save without any weird issues, and I haven’t had to deal with losing work, which is a huge relief. I know some tools overcomplicate things with unnecessary extras, but Clio mostly just does what I need it to do every day.

I used the clio client portal with my lawyer, it was way easier than I expected. I could log in, check messages, and look at documents all in one place, which saved me from hunting through old emails, and I definitely do not need more reasons to be in my inbox.
Payments were straightforward too, with no weird extra steps or confusing screens. I’m not exactly the most techy person, so I appreciated that it felt clean and simple. Refreshing, actually.

I wasn’t expecting much, but after the most recent update, the tools feel noticeably better. Everything I’ve used lately has been smoother and easier to work with, so right now I’m happy with it.

"Taking payments is way easier now"
I’ve been using Clio for client payments and it’s been painless. Sending payment links is simple, the money usually comes through quickly, and I’m not having to follow up with clients nearly as much. The only small thing I’ve noticed is that a couple clients said the link was a little slow to load on their end. Has anyone else run into that? Other than that, I really don’t have much to complain about

"Calendar and tasks feel clunky"
I’ve been trying to use the tasks and calendar together, but it just feels messier than it should. Reminders get confusing, and moving dates around takes way too many clicks for something that should be simple. I expected it to feel a lot smoother. It also kind of gives me the impression they’re more focused on pushing features or upgrades than making the basic stuff actually easy to use

Clio has made billing a lot less stressful for our office. I can send invoices quickly. I can also see what’s been paid without hunting around. It took me a little time to get used to it. But now it saves me time every week.
